I wrote this about a year ago, and it still makes me laugh...

I sat down and wrote you a love letter
you read it and told me it would be better
if it was written in iambic pentameter

so I got a book about Shakespeare

We went to see a movie
you wore a green sweater
you leaned in close to me
said the book was much better

Thats when I knew
that I was in love with you

I remember the day I melted your heart
I read you some sonnets
and we made out on your bookcart

I'm so glad after I checked that book out
I came back inside and poured my heart out
